Mini Piling in Bolton
This is a type of piling that has a smaller diameter than the regular piling methods. Because of this, they are both lightweight and affordable, whilst also being strong enough to withstand heavy weights. The most common kind of mini piling is where an empty steel shaft is fastened or drilled into the ground and then filled up with concrete in order to form the pile.
When is Mini Piling needed?
It is the best option by far for domestic applications. Equally, it is a good option in those situations when piling needs to be done in a restricted location and for within populated areas as it makes much less noise and produces fewer vibrations than traditional methods, all whilst laying solid foundations.
It should be noted though that mini piling can also be used for much larger constructions like bridges, wind farms and towering skyscrapers.
Bottom Driven Piles
Bottom driven piles are efficient and practical to a wide range of different terrain conditions. An internal drop hammer forces a closed ended and thin walled steel shaft onto a dry concrete plugin length. The shafts are then linked by a fillet weld until the pile is pushed to the desired length. The shafts are then filled up with concrete and a bar or cage is inserted inside.
