During the construction process, a steel tube with one end closed is carefully driven into the Earth using an internal drop hammer. These tubes can vary in length from 2m to 6m and are joined together by full welds as they go deeper. Once the tube is in place, a predetermined length is achieved when the hammer knocks the pile into position. The steel tube is filled up with concrete, providing it with strength and stability.
